DuMolin Community Living's Douglas House has been in operation since December 1980. Douglas House is located in a quiet, residential area of Santa Rosa.

Individuals at Douglas House are being supported in independent living skills. Staff are providing assistance and training in accessing the community, money management, self administration of medication, cooking skills, and many other supports for achieving independence. They enjoy summer BBQs and swimming in the backyard pool. They regularly attend semi-monthly dances, go on camping trips, and are very active in Special Olympics. Most of the folks work at the North Bay Industries day program in Rohnert Park and Old Adobe Developmental Services in Petaluma. One Douglas resident works for Hewlett Packard.
